Mounting sleeve for the Safely installing valve stem seals on valves with a valve stem diameter of 9 mm.

The sleeve is placed over the valve stem during installation and prevents the sealing lip of the new valve stem seal from being damaged by sharp edges and grooves in the valve stem. After installing the valve stem seal, the mounting sleeve is removed.

Installation advice

Apply before assembly a small amount of clean motor oil or apply mounting oil to the mounting sleeve and the valve stem seal. Place the mounting sleeve completely over the end of the valve stem and carefully slide the valve stem seal over the sleeve. This prevents the sealing lip from being damaged during installation.
