Original Bosch special grease for the maintenance and overhaul of classic ignition distributors. Bosch prescribes this grease for lubricating the distributor/ignition cam and the sliding block of contact points. Due to the good adhesion, the grease remains in the correct place and helps limit wear on the sliding surface of the contact points.
This grease is also highly suitable for lubricating the contact points for controlling the injectors in a D-Jetronic. These contact points are located at the bottom of the ignition and are often forgotten to be lubricated. We recommend lubricating and readjusting the contact points every 6 to 8 years.

During assembly or maintenance, apply a small amount of grease to the sliding block of the contact points where it runs over the cam of the ignition distributor.
