Important

During maintenance, always check the complete fuel lines and fuel hoses between the fuel pump pack and the engine for drying out, cracking, and leakage. Aged fuel hoses can lead to pressure loss, starting problems, and fuel leakage.

We recommend checking the fuel filter, the fuel accumulator, and the other hoses of the fuel pump package when replacing this fuel hose. Additionally, check the tank strainer and the inside of the fuel tank for contamination and rust. Rust particles can severely damage the fuel pumps, the fuel filter, and the injection system.
