The fuel distributor, also known as mixing bowl or spider head<\/strong> as mentioned, is a central component of the K-Jetronic injection system.<\/p>

The fuel distributor meters the amount of fuel in proportion to the amount of air drawn into the engine. The movement of the air flow meter is transferred to the control plunger in the fuel distributor via a lever system. The further the air flow meter is extended, the more fuel can flow to the injectors.<\/p>
