    Always install the oil pan and the new gasket on a completely clean, dry, and grease-free sealing surface. Carefully remove all old gasket residue and ensure that no dirt, old gasket parts, or other contaminants enter the automatic transmission. The supplied gasket is designed to be installed without sealant or gasket material.<\/p>\n

    Thoroughly clean the oil pan before installation and remove any metal particles from the magnets in the oil pan. Also check that the old sealing ring(s) have been completely removed before installing the new ones.<\/p>\n

    Tighten the oil pan bolts diagonally to a torque of 7 Nm to 8 Nm<\/strong>. A higher tightening torque can deform the oil pan, damage the threads, or cause leakage.<\/p>\n

    Change the automatic transmission oil not only according to the mileage intervals, but at least every 6 to 8 years<\/strong>. Even when driven infrequently, the transmission oil ages, causing its lubricating and protective properties to diminish. Regularly changing both the oil and the filter contributes to a longer lifespan and reliable operation of the automatic transmission.<\/p>\n
