Additional information

1. The coolant pump ensures constant circulation of the coolant and prevents the engine from overheating.
2. A worn water pump can cause leakage, bearing play, or reduced cooling capacity.
3. Always check the version of the old water pump, the flange, the dimensions, and the number of mounting holes before ordering.

Recommended replacement

We recommend replacing the coolant hose between the engine and the thermostat when replacing the coolant pump. This is available in our webshop under SKU number:  MB-1032030082-KHL-NB 

When the original coolant line, see photo on the left, is still mounted on the water pump, we recommend replacing this immediately as well. The updated version, see photo on the right, is available in our webshop under SKU number:  MB-1032001452-KHL-NB 

In some cases, the hose from the pump to the radiator must also be replaced with the A1265016082.

If your coolant pump is still equipped with a plastic thermostat housing, we recommend installing the improved aluminium thermostat housing. MB-1032030774-KHL-NB
