Installation advice

Always remove any existing before installation. anti-corrosion protection, oil, grease or other contaminants completely clean the braking surfaces of the brake discs. Use a suitable brake cleaner for this and ensure that the braking surfaces are completely clean, dry, and grease-free before installation.

Always replace brake discs by axle and install new brake pads at the same timen. Used brake pads have worn in on the old brake discs and, if reused, can cause an uneven contact surface, reduced braking performance, vibrations, noise, and an incorrect wear pattern of the new brake discs.

Also clean the before assembly contact surface of the wheel hub Carefully remove rust, dirt, and other irregularities. The brake disc must lie completely flat and free of tension against the wheel hub. A dirty, corroded, or uneven contact surface can cause runout of the brake disc and, consequently, brake vibrations.
