This original Mercedes sealing ring for the injector sleeve is applied in various M103 and M104 six-cylinder petrol engines of KE-Jetronic fuel injection.

The rubber sealing ring seals the injector sleeve in the intake system and helps prevent the engine false air sucks in.

Due to age and heat, the rubber can harden, shrink, or crack. This can lead to an irregular idle speed, a disturbed fuel-air mixture, and problems tuning the engine.
