Description
Valve cover gasket – Mercedes W123 C123 S123 W124 C124 S124 W201 W460 W461 W463 – M102 engine – without level control
This high-quality valve cover gasket ensures a reliable seal between the valve cover and the cylinder head of the Mercedes M102 engine. This version is suitable for engines without level control pump.
A well-sealing valve cover gasket prevents oil leakage, protects the engine compartment from contamination, and contributes to reliable engine operation.
Over time, the original gasket may harden or shrink due to age, heat, and temperature fluctuations, which can lead to oil leakage. In the event of oil leakage around the valve cover, we recommend replacing the gasket, or during disassembly.

Installation advice
Always work cleanly when working on the engine. Before removing the valve cover, carefully clean the area around the valve cover so that dirt cannot enter the engine during disassembly.
Remove the old valve cover gasket and carefully clean the sealing surfaces of the valve cover and cylinder head. Remove all residue from the old gasket without damaging the sealing surfaces.
Carefully inspect the valve cover for damage and deformation before installation. A damaged or deformed valve cover can cause oil leakage, even with a new gasket.
Carefully install the new valve cover gasket and check that it is correctly seated in its designated position everywhere.
Install the valve cover carefully and tighten the mounting bolts evenly to the torque specified by the vehicle manufacturer. Overtightening can cause deformation of the valve cover, damage to the gasket, and oil leakage.
After installation, let the engine run for approximately 10 minutes and carefully check the valve cover for oil leaks.
Next, change the engine oil to remove any debris that may have entered the engine during the work.
Always check before purchase and installation whether the part is suitable and equivalent based on photos, description, and specifications; installed or used parts cannot be returned.
