Description
Bosch petrol injector KE-Jetronic steel version – Mercedes R107 R129 W124 C124 A124 S124 W126 C126 W461 W463
This Bosch petrol injector 0 437 502 035 is a quality product for various classic Mercedes petrol engines with KE-Jetronic.
It concerns the traditional steel version, which is priced more affordably than the improved brass version with Viton seals.
We prefer the brass version due to its better corrosion resistance and durable Viton seals. However, the steel version remains a good and more affordable alternative with the trusted Bosch quality.
Wear and contamination of injectors
KE-Jetronic injectors have a relatively simple technical design, but contain precision parts that can wear out over time.
Inside each injector is a small spring that ensures the injector opens and closes at the correct pressure. Additionally, there is a fine sieve inside that traps dirt particles.
Due to age, contamination, and wear, the opening pressure, sealing, and spray pattern can change. As a result, the engine may run irregularly, start poorly, or develop an abnormal fuel-air mixture.
Because the internal strainer cannot be easily removed and the injector is difficult to reliably clean against the normal flow direction, is Replacement is usually the best solution in case of contamination or wear..
This part is sold individually.

Manual for replacing injectors – K-Jetronic, KA-Jetronic and KE-Jetronic
Correct installation and a clean fuel system are important for the operation and lifespan of new injectors.
Therefore, before installation, read our manual containing important information regarding inspection, assembly, testing, and preventing contamination and leaks.

Additional information and installation advice
1. New injectors can sometimes stick slightly. This may occur upon initial use and usually disappears in practice after short use.
2. We recommend always testing new injectors before installation. In our own Mercedes classic car workshop, we therefore check the spray pattern of new injectors before they are installed.
3. For a small additional fee, we can pressure test and test the injectors for you before shipment. In doing so, we check the opening pressure, closing, and spray pattern, among other things.
4. Before installation, check the fuel system for contamination, rust particles, and other contaminants. Even slight contamination can interfere with the operation of new injectors.
5. Work particularly cleanly during disassembly and assembly and prevent dirt from entering the fuel lines or injectors.
6. Carefully check the seals and connections and check the system for fuel leakage after assembly.
7. Preferably have work on the injection system carried out by a specialist with experience in K-Jetronic and KE-Jetronic.
8. The official Mercedes workshop manual and factory specifications always take precedence.
